You can choose to upgrade your pump to better one there are a couple of ways to do that. You can increase the flow capacity and or get a quieter pump. The most common Shurflo Rv Water Pump is the 2.8 GPM and is most likely the one you have, but a great upgrade would be to go to the Shurflo RV Water Pump model 2088-453-444,3.5 GPM. This pump will increase your flow from 2.8 GPM to 3.5 GPM. The other is to go to the Shurflo Whisper King model 2093-204-413. This is the quietest standard pump on the market. It has a low rpm permanent magnet motor. This pump definitely exceeds RV WATER PUMP standards.

Often when someone replaces their pump they never consider other things to do while they are in the process. Here are a couple you should always think about. They are both easy to do and not expensive. One is to replace or add on a Shurflo Water Strainer. This will really protect and extend the life of your water pump. Another great add on is a PUMP SILENCING KIT. It’s an easy install and consist of two 36 inch soft tube risers and the connections. It will only take a few minutes and you will enjoy the much quieter sound of your pump.
